FILM
In this section I listed projects that I particularly liked and taught me the most about filmmaking.
Joelle - by Marvin Bicko
The story outlines a picture of a not-too-distant, fictitious future in which a part of society lives a significant part of its everyday life in virtual reality. This is made possible by a device that can be inserted like a contact lens. And the system works in the same way as social media and other digital platforms. The film examines the impact of parallel reality experiences on human relationships.
Feast / Lakoma - by Mariann Zászlós
The protagonist of her film, Feast is a young woman who works as a "sushi girl" in a night bar. During her performance guests of the night bar can eat food served on the woman's naked and motionless body. Gestures play an important role in the film. When inventing the appearance of the characters, we wanted to create the atmosphere of a baroque feast, where thanks to their grandiose costumes, the guests also become part of the show. The position of the viewer and performer is questioned.
